Sp\u00e4ter entstand hier eine Missionsstation, die dann den Kern der kleinen Ortschaft Kuruman bildete.<\/p>\n<p>Heute ist Kuruman vor allem Versorgungszentrum am n\u00f6rdlichen Rand der Republik.<br \/>\nGleichzeitig ist es das Eingangstor zur Mienenregion westlich und nordwestlich der Stadt.
